Assessment
Each lesson will have an assessment that students can complete for feedback.

Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 7
This self-paced class is an asynchronous version of my LIVE class "Fractions, Decimals, Percents... Oh My!" Unlike the one-time class, students are able to work independently on skills which may help them solidify the concepts at their own pace.

I will provide students with the notes, examples, activities and directions needed to seamlessly follow through each lesson. Students will be encouraged to take notes as they move through the lessons as this will help them understand the examples and complete the puzzles, and I will respond to any questions that may be posted via Outschool messages. There will be 6 lessons total, with each lesson being posted on Sundays by 12 noon (Eastern Standard Time) if a weekly format is chosen. The goal will be for students to try and complete the entire lesson prior to the release of the next lesson. classmates are mastering material as well.

By the conclusion of this class, students should have a stronger foundation of rewriting numbers into different forms and using a percent proportion to solve a variety of percent-related problems.
Learning Goals
In this class, students will:

-practice multiplication and division facts
-multiply and divide with whole numbers and decimals
-find the missing number in a set of equivalent fractions
-use cross-multiplication to find the missing number in a set of equivalent fractions
-convert numbers to different forms (fractions, decimals, percent)
-use a percent proportion to solve problems involving percentages

Supply List
It would be nice for students to have a three-ring binder in order to keep track of assignments and notes for each lesson. I will provide a PDF via Outschool messages that will explain to students what needs to be for the week (objective, discussion question, notes and assessment). A calculator and graph paper would be nice items to have, however, when possible, I will suggest websites that may have the tools that a learner may need (example: online calculators).
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
