The Montessori Pink Series is the first step in Montessori language development aimed at introducing children to simple, phonetic words, typically CVC (Consonant-Vowel-Consonant) words. The Pink Series follows a sequential approach designed to help children gradually build their reading and writing skills. The Montessori Pink Series CVC word building lays the essential foundation for language acquisition and literacy development. Through a carefully curated set of activities and materials, this program aims: OBJECTIVES • Phonemic Awareness • Pre-Reading Skills • Pre-Writing Skills • Multi-Sensory Learning • Language and Vocabulary Development MATERIALS We will use the "Montessori Moveable Alphabet" and "Sandpaper Letters." Physical material is a great advantage for your learner. However, I also provide the print version. STRUCTURE Montessori guide introduction Introduction of the lesson Presentation Three Period Lesson Sound and Object Association Hands-on activities Writing Practice Review CLASS OVERVIEW • Week 1: Phonetic picture/objects-short vowel /a/ • Week 2: Phonetic picture/objects-short vowel /e/ • Week 3: Phonetic picture/objects-short vowel /i/ • Week 4: Phonetic picture/objects-short vowel /o/ • Week 5: Phonetic picture/objects-short vowel /u/ WHATS NEXT: Once completed all the lessons, your learner will receive a certificate of completion!
