Class Description: Welcome to our personalized, one-on-one social skills coaching program, designed to empower your child with the tools they need to confidently navigate social interactions and enhance their emotional intelligence. This course is tailored to meet your child’s individual needs, focusing on building essential social skills, boosting self-confidence, and improving communication abilities. Through interactive and engaging sessions, your child will learn how to manage emotions, communicate effectively, and interact comfortably in various social settings. Class Experience: In this class, your child will receive personalized attention in a supportive and engaging environment. Each session is designed to address specific social and emotional skills, with a curriculum that adapts to your child’s pace and learning style. We’ll cover a wide range of topics, including: What Will Be Taught? Building self-confidence and self-assurance in social situations. Navigating different social scenarios with ease and comfort. Managing emotions effectively, even under pressure. Reducing social anxiety and overcoming shyness. Initiating and maintaining conversations, both in casual and formal settings. Enhancing listening skills and responding appropriately. Interpreting and using non-verbal communication, such as body language and facial expressions. Setting and respecting personal boundaries. Communicating thoughts and feelings clearly and assertively. Developing empathy and understanding others’ emotions. Engaging positively in group interactions. Practicing responsible and respectful social media use. How Is the Class Structured? Each session is customized based on your child’s unique needs, with a blend of guided discussions, hands-on activities, and role-playing scenarios. The structure is flexible, allowing for adjustments based on your child’s progress and comfort level. This ensures that your child masters each skill before moving on to the next. How Will You Teach? My teaching approach is highly interactive and student-centred. I use a variety of instructional methods, including role-playing, practical exercises, games, and visual aids, to keep the lessons engaging and relatable. Content is delivered in a way that makes learning enjoyable and effective, ensuring that each concept is understood and retained. What's Your Teaching Style? The teaching style is supportive, engaging, and tailored to your child’s individual needs. I focus on creating a safe and positive environment where your child feels comfortable exploring new skills and asking questions. Lessons are designed to be interactive and participatory, encouraging active learning and personal growth. How Much Will Learners Get to Interact with You? Learners will have extensive interaction with me throughout each session. This includes direct instruction, personalized feedback, and opportunities for open discussion. Parental Guidance
This class is focused on building social skills and emotional intelligence in a supportive and positive environment. There is no content that is upsetting or requires special safety precautions. All materials and activities are age-appropriate, and no third-party tools requiring accounts will be used.
