Intermediate Level
Come join in the ongoing class to continue to improve your flute playing ability. Class Content: During this class you will learn 2-5 songs each time we meet depending on your level. We will work on a variety of skills including note names and sounds, rests, vocabulary, and theory practice. Why This Class: I have played flute for over 20 years. I have been working with kids for that long in a variety of capacities in and out of music. I played in high school and college for concert, pep, and marching band. Special Considerations: Please reach out before enrolling your learner into this course. This is an intermediate level course. Your learner will need to have the basics down before beginning this class. I offer a one time placement flute class and a beginners course as well. Class Materials: Flute Essential Elements Flute 1 or 2 depending on your learners level Flying Flute Theory book 1 Pencil Water-no other drinks or food due to the risk for flute Music stand if desired Class Schedule : The first class will be a placement and an assessment of your learners skills. After the first week the materials covered will be dependent upon your learners level. The last week of the month will be theory week. We will work exclusively on theory work this week.

Learning Needs
Since this is a music class learners will need to have their microphones on while playing for me. However, I am happy to allow learners to have their cameras off after a visual check in and communicate using the chat feature.
Pre-Requisites
This course is designed for learners who have completed my beginner group or with permission from me to enroll in this course. I do have a beginner small group as well. Please contact me prior to enrolling in this course.
