Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 7
Beginner - Advanced Level
Come join this interactive, fun class to brush up on your math skills to practice 5th and 6th grade math skills!

Class Content:
Each week we will meet to review fifth and sixth grade skills. During class we will use a variety of methods and learning styles including hands-on projects, paper assignments, games, visuals, and other activities to help all learners engage and make the most of this class and reinforce skills.

Why This Class:
I have been a brick and mortar teacher for ten years working with all elementary levels. I have seen through experience that school break is a critical time to keep those skills sharp and prevent the slide.

Class Materials:
Each week learners will be sent all print outs prior to class. These print outs will include a variety of activities for class. Learners will also need basic supplies available for class. These will include pencils, coloring materials, scissors, and glue.
**Not all pages will be covered during our class. Learners are provided with additional materials for extra practice outside of class and papers covered will vary by class dynamics.

Special Considerations:
This class may go over based on group dynamics up to ten minutes but learners are welcome to leave when they need to.

Tech usage:
During class we may play online games utilizing kahoot. Please ensure you’re student either knows how to split their screen or is fine with pairing up with someone or with me depending on class dynamics.
