In this two week mini unit learners will work on writing and grammar skills for 5th and 6th grade with games and activities.

During class we will use a variety of methods and learning styles including hands-on projects, paper assignments, sorts, visuals, books, and other activities to help all learners engage and make the most of this class and reinforce grammar and writing skills. I have been a brick and mortar teacher for ten years working with all elementary levels.
Homework Offered
The only homework for this class may be if we don't get something finished during class. Learners are encouraged to send their daily writings to me so I can look at them to help learners during class.0 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
There is no official assessment. Observations will be done daily to adjust instruction.Grades Offered
This class will involve various activities including hands-on, slides, craftivities, games, etc based on the class dynamics so all learners have an opportunity to gain the skills offered in this course.
Learners should be familiar with 5th and/or 6th grade writing and grammar skills.
Each week learners will be sent all print outs prior to class. These print outs will include a variety of activities for class including a book that all learners can print and keep. Learners will also need basic supplies available for class. These will include pencils, coloring materials, scissors, and glue.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:

We will be utilizing the common core as a basic for standards and adjusting as needed.
