Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 5
Beginner - Advanced Level
Come join this interactive, fun class to brush up on your math skills to help get prepared for fifth grade!

Class Content:
Each week we will meet to review fourth grade skills. During class we will use a variety of methods and learning styles including hands-on projects, paper assignments, games, visuals, and other activities to help all learners engage and make the most of this class and reinforce skills and help prepare for fifth grade.

Why This Class:
I have been a brick and mortar teacher for ten years working with all elementary levels. I have seen through experience that summer is a critical time to keep those skills sharp and prevent the summer slide which can set a learner back up to two months in their education.

Class Materials:
Each week learners will be sent all print outs prior to class. These print outs will include a variety of activities for class. Learners will also need basic supplies available for class. These will include pencils, coloring materials, scissors, and glue.

Special Considerations:
This class may go over based on group dynamics up to ten minutes but learners are welcome to leave when they need to.

Tech usage:
During class we may play online games utilizing kahoot. Please ensure you’re student either knows how to split their screen or is fine with pairing up with someone or with me depending on class dynamics.
