At the start of the class, we will have a chance to introduce ourselves and learn a little bit about meditation. After introductions, students will close their eyes for a 10-15 minute guided, seated meditation (the teacher will keep her eyes open to monitor students). At the end, we will have a chance to share out, talk about our experiences, and ask any questions we have. I am a friendly and patient teacher and am happy to help however I can. I have been meditating regularly for the past four years and have recently completed the online Peaceful Babes Kids Yoga teacher training certificate course on Udemy, which includes a module on teaching meditation to kids. As a middle school teacher, I have led my students through daily meditations and have learned extensively about meditation through the mindfulness practices at my school.
