What will be taught: Students will learn to evaluate an algebraic expression means to find the value of an algebraic expression by substituting numerical vales for the letters. Students learn when evaluating algebraic expressions remember to use the correct order of operations after the proper substitutions have been made. Students will practice problems, answer true and false questions. How will the lesson be taught: Whiteboard, slides, practice solving problems, discussion and lecture. Some knowledge of Intro to algebra is helpful such as integers, what are variables, differences of monomial, binomial and trinomial etc.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
