Week 1Lesson 1The Basic Cake PopWe’ll first learn how to doctor up a boxed cake mix with a few extra ingredients to make it taste absolutely amazing. Then we'll learn how to turn the cake into cake pops by shaping them into balls, attaching the cake pop stick, and covering them in melted chocolate. Students will also be encouraged to post a video of their cake pops and share how it went.Week 2Lesson 2Peanut Butter Oreo Cake PopsWe're going to whip up some ridiculously tasty chocolate and peanut butter cake pops this week. We'll make Oreo truffles for the inside, and a delicious peanut butter coating for the outside. Yum!! Students are also always encouraged to share a photo or video of their cake pops.Week 3Lesson 3Brownie Cake PopsThis week, I'll be sharing my favorite brownie recipe with you in order to make our delicious brownie pops. Just like before, we'll add the cake pop stick and melted chocolate so they look like a cake pop. Only there'll be a fudgy, yummy brownie inside this time! We'll also have a decorating competition to see who can be the most creative, most colorful, etc in their cake pop decorating. Again, students are also always encouraged to share a photo or video of their cake pops.Week 4Lesson 4Rainbow Cake PopsGet ready for some color! This week, we'll turn the inside AND outside of our cake pops into a delightfully colorful dessert. The inside will be multi-colored cake, and the outside will be a swirled multi-colored chocolate coating. Beautiful and oh so delicious! We'll finish off by sharing which recipe or decorating technique was our favorite, and any ideas we'd like to try in the future.
