Let's Explore Autumn: Learn About Facets of Autumn With Coordinating Craft FLEX

This is a flexible schedule class. Although we will not meet live, this class has interactive weekly lessons and the teacher is available for questions and comments and to oversee student's weekly work.  
Each week there will be a video lesson conducted by the teacher. 
There will be a fun, interactive Nearpod lesson where students can share drawings on a collaborate board. 
There will also be printable activity sheets, a Kahoot Quiz and printable Notes for each weekly lesson. 
There will be a weekly video with the teacher demonstrating the craft step by step. 
Photos of crafts and activity sheets will be shared by students to the teacher and class via the classroom each week by Sunday, before the next week's lessons begin. 
Students will interact with one another in the classroom by submitting their completed crafts and activity sheets for everyone to observe and comment on. We gain knowledge and ideas from submitting our work and leaving feedback for fellow students. 
Students will also interact in the Nearpod lesson where they will create their own drawing for everyone in the class to see. 
Questions, comments, and observations are shared to the classroom for students and teacher to comment. 
Teacher is available to answer questions and to respond to submissions Monday through Friday and will respond as soon as possible. 
Each Friday's Kahoot quiz can be coordinated to take with other students or taken alone. 
The class schedule is as follows:

Week One:
We will explore the way leaves change color in a teacher led lesson followed by a step by step fun coordinating craft.
Students will take a virtual field trip to see beautiful autumn leaves.

Week Two
We will explore the apple orchard and learn about the life cycle of an apple. Students will take a virtual field trip to an apple orchard and engage fine motor skills with a fun, apple craft!

Week Three
Students will learn about the art of delicious apple cider making. We will take a virtual field trip to a cider press and engage fine motor skills with a fun craft.

Week Four
Students will learn about the scarecrow and the important role it plays on farms. Students will take a virtual field trip to see a scarecrow in action and engage fine motor skills creating a fun, scarecrow craft.
