Looking for a fun way to review short vowels with your child before moving onto more complex spelling patterns? Join our week-long camp where we'll review one vowel sound each day using interactive songs and playdough. Through this camp, your child will practice reading, sounding out, and writing words with short vowels, particularly CVC words. While enrolling your child, ensure they can identify MOST letter names and sounds to ensure the best learning experience. I am a former public-school teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching preschool and early elementary. In Spring of 2022, I left the classroom in search of more flexibility and to spend more time with my son. I love teaching kids to read using multisensory, research-based strategies. I received my LETRS certification in 2020 which launched my passion for the science of reading. I also love to teach math, STEM, and social-emotional learning.
