Become a sentence superstar! In this interactive 6-week class, learners will be introduced to the Superstar Sentence Ladder and learn to transform plain, boring sentences into descriptive and interesting ones, all while learning all about grammar and sentence structure. Students will have opportunities to work together to build amazing sentences and will also work independently to practice their sentence writing skills. By the end of the class, learners will be able to take any sentence and transform it into a detailed and expressive sentence that will improve their writing in any genre. Writing isn't boring when you are writing super star sentences! Week 1: What is a One-Star Sentence? (Nouns and Verbs) Let's Make a Two-Star Sentence (Adjectives) Week 2: Practice Two-Star Sentences (Adjectives) Let's Make Three-Star Sentences (Adjectives and Adverbs) Week 3: Practice Three-Star Sentences Let's Make Four-Star Sentences (Expanding with When and Where) Week 4: Practice Four-Star Sentences Let's Make Five-Star Sentences (Expanding with Conjunctions) Week 5: Practice Five-Star Sentences Week 6: Perfecting Five-Star Sentences
