Breakfast all day for the win! In this 3 day camp, we will cook 3 different Breakfast recipes that are sure to impress friends and family.

Class experience

In this 3 day camp, learners will cook 3 Breakfast recipes from start to finish. Learners will learn how to stay safe in the kitchen. They will learn how to work around a stovetop, knife skills, and how to make a batter from scratch. I aim for the learners to have fun while also learning how to be safe and gain confidence in the kitchen.
I have been working as a kids enrichment teacher for the last 3 years.  I love teaching children and allowing them to create and think outside the box.  I have a 9-year-old son who is on the Autism Spectrum, so am a very patient and understanding teacher.  I realize all children learn differently and it is imperative to really listen to each child in order for them to feel secure and safe.
Day 1- Strawberry Stuffed French Toast with a fruit parfait
2 large eggs
1⁄4 cup milk
6 slices Texas Toast bread
1 (8 ounce) container strawberry cream cheese, softened
10 strawberries
2 tablespoons butter
powdered sugar (to garnish)
maple syrup, for serving 
Vanilla Yogurt
Honey
Raspberries
Blueberries
Skillet

Day 2- Banana Fosters Pancakes
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp packed brown sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
Pinch salt
1 egg
1 cup milk
3/4 cup sour cream
2 tbsp butter melted
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp butter for cooking
1/4 cup  butter
1/4 cup packed brown sugar 
3 bananas
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
Skillet & Stove

Day 3 Southwestern Breakfast Tacos
3 eggs
¼ tube of fresh sausage
½ onion diced
2 tbsp butter
1 red pepper 
1 tbsp fajita seasoning
1 tomato 
1 cup cheddar, shredded
1 avocado 
Tortillas (corn or flour)
sour cream

Kids will learn safety around the stove and how to properly read and understand following a recipe while preparing a delicious meal that is guaranteed to impress. We will work on measurements, cooking terms, and why following directions while cooking is imperative. f you have a young learner, parent support may be needed at the stovetop work or with knives.
