Fostering independence is an important skill as children grow older. This includes teaching teens to cook for themselves. At least to ensure that college does not become a bag of ramen nightly nor a takeout central. Each week, we will go through basic cooking skills as we prepare easy meals for teens. Recipe cards will be sent the Friday before class. Common kitchen items will be needed such as oil, pans, pots, and flour, eggs, milk, etc.
