Are you ready to learn how to cook a complete meal for your family? This class is geared toward learners who are interested in becoming more independent in the kitchen by making dinner with minimal help from home. In each class, we will complete a dinner recipe together from start to finish. My style of teaching is very hands-on, as I will be cooking alongside the learners. I use two cameras--one showing me, then one showing my counter or stove so that I can demonstrate each of the steps in the recipe. As we cook together, I will check-in and ask learners if they are doing OK or have completed each step. At least 2 days before class, I will post the ingredients for the recipe we will be completing together. I will also provide a copy of the recipe for you to print, if you'd like. Due to the nature of this course, we may not always end at the advertised end time. We may end 5 minutes early or even go up to 15 minutes late. There are so many factors that play into the length of a cooking class (discussion, troubleshooting, questions, cooking times, etc). Thank you for being understanding and let's have fun cooking together! I love teaching, and I love my students as my own. I foster a positive classroom environment through encouragement, strong personal connections, clear classroom management and structure, and understanding. Each learner is unique and special, and I love celebrating each in their strengths and accomplishments. I am supportive of all needs and abilities. If you're looking for a loving and kind teacher to inspire your learner, I encourage you to try one of my classes. I can't WAIT to meet your learner soon!
