As a licensed teacher for over 30 years, I have had the opportunity to support and engage students with diverse learning needs. I strive to create a positive classroom environment that is both supportive and engaging, where students feel comfortable sharing their ideas and participating in discussions. My goal is to help each student develop a lifelong love for reading while achieving their academic goals.
My passion is literature. I believe stories make concepts more palpable to children. Stories teach students valuable lessons, empathy, and to see the world from different perspectives.
When I have time, I like to travel, experience different cultures, and learn the history of people and places. I am also an animal lover! I have two dogs, have worked with animal rescues, and fostered cats and dogs for years.
I hope to see your learner in class!
