The Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli Literature study is an engaging and interactive class designed for high school learners. The heart of this class lies in its lively and interactive discussions. To facilitate in-depth discussions, learners are encouraged to prepare by noting their favorite quotes, characters, and key plot points. The discussions will encourage critical thinking and the exploration of themes like individuality, conformity, and the power of kindness. The literature study also incorporates hands-on projects that allow learners to engage with the book on a creative level. Some of these projects might include: * Character Analysis: Learners will create character profiles for Stargirl and Leo, exploring their motivations, character development, and relationships throughout the story. * Stargirl's Journal: Learners will write their own "Stargirl" inspired journals, documenting their thoughts, experiences, and acts of kindness in a unique and whimsical style. * Artistic Expression: Encouraging artistic endeavors, such as creating visual art or crafting projects inspired by the themes and characters in the book. Learners will also be completing various writing assignments throughout the course of the literature study in order to deepen their understanding of the novel. Here is the breakdown of the weeks. **** Learners need to read chapters 1-4 before the first class. **** Week 1: Chapters 1-4 Week 2: Chapters 5-8 Week 3: Chapters 9-12 Week 4: Chapters 13-16 Week 5: Chapters 17-20 Week 6: Chapters 21-24 Week 7: Chapters 25-28 Week 8: Chapters 29-33 The Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli Literature Study aims to create a fun, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating environment where high school students can connect with each other, explore the themes and characters of "Stargirl" in-depth, and develop their analytical and creative skills. Through interactive discussions, hands-on projects, and writing assignments, the club fosters a love for literature and a deeper appreciation for Jerry Spinelli's novel, "Stargirl."

In "Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli, the two teenage characters develop an innocent teenage romance. There are incidents in the novel when one of the characters is bullied by her classmates.
