To facilitate in-depth discussions, learners are encouraged to prepare by noting their favorite quotes, characters, and key plot points. The discussions will encourage critical thinking and the exploration of themes like individuality, conformity, and the power of kindness. The literature study also incorporates hands-on projects that allow learners to engage with the book on a creative level. Some of these projects might include: * Character Analysis: Learners will create character profiles for Stargirl and Leo, exploring their motivations, character development, and relationships throughout the story. * Stargirl's Journal: Learners will write their own "Stargirl" inspired journals, documenting their thoughts, experiences, and acts of kindness in a unique and whimsical style. * Artistic Expression: Encouraging artistic endeavors, such as creating visual art or crafting projects inspired by the themes and characters in the book. In "Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli, the two teenage characters develop an innocent teenage romance. There are incidents in the novel when one of the characters is bullied by her classmates.
