Crazy for Birds: Bird Watchers Group
Group experience
US Grade 3 - 6
Calling all bird lovers! Do you love learning about birds and sharing with others? This is the group for you! I have met so many very knowledgeable birders in my bird classes, and I am so excited to offer a group we can all share together. As a moderator, I will provide challenges, contests, and lots of information sources for you to expand your knowledge, test your skills, and to share with others. Each week there will be opportunities to engage in discussions with other birders. Students...
Students will share with other birders their photos, videos, or drawings as they interact and learn about bird identification, sounds birds make, and other information. They will learn about birds around the world from others learners.
I have been a birder for over 10 years, and a bird photographer. I teach many different birding classes on Outschool, from backyard birds, birds of prey, and owls. I hope to add more in the future. I am also co-writing a bird book.
Students will be given links to explore birds, some may be youtube videos. Please give your students guidance on using links.
