Students will be taught how to tackle the ACT Reading section, focusing on three key areas: Key Ideas and Details, Craft and Structure, and Integration of Knowledge and Ideas. Each module will break down specific strategies for answering different types of questions effectively and efficiently.

🎥 HOW WILL YOU TEACH?  Each module includes pre-recorded lessons with slides and video clips to explain key strategies. Students will work through practice questions, submit answers through Google Forms, and get immediate feedback on their performance.

 •Students will be able to describe the structure and timing of the ACT Reading Test.
•Students will be able to identify the types of passages included in the ACT Reading Test.
•Students will be able to explain the three sections of the ACT Reading Test: Key Ideas and Details, Craft and Structure, and Integration of Knowledge and Ideas. 
Lesson 2:
Key Ideas and Details
 •Students will be able to define key ideas and details as assessed on the ACT Reading Test.
•Students will be able to identify and answer main idea, supporting detail, cause-effect, and sequence of events questions.
•Students will be able to practice answering representative questions focusing on key ideas and details. 
Lesson 3:
Craft and Structure
 •Students will be able to define craft and structure as assessed on the ACT Reading Test.
•Students will be able to identify and answer questions related to the author's tone, word meaning in context, and text structure.
•Students will be able to practice answering representative questions focusing on craft and structure. 
Lesson 4:
Integration of Knowledge and Ideas
 •Students will be able to define integration of knowledge and ideas as assessed on the ACT Reading Test.
•Students will be able to identify and answer questions that require comparative analysis, argument evaluation, and drawing conclusions from multiple texts.
•Students will be able to practice answering representative questions focusing on integration of knowledge and ideas.
