• Understand subject-verb agreement rules and apply them effectively.
• Recognize pronoun-antecedent agreement and correct common pronoun errors.

Day 2: Punctuation Powerhouse 
(ACT Standard: Usage & Mechanics)
Students will be able to:
• Apply commas and semicolons correctly in sentences.
• Recognize different sentence structures and the role of conjunctions.
• Utilize transitions for coherence and clarity in sentences.

Day 3: Sentence Structure Savvy 
(ACT Standard: Knowledge of Language)
Students will be able to:
• Combine fragments or short sentences into grammatically correct and impactful sentences.
• Analyze passages to identify the author's purpose, tone, and style.
• Apply elimination strategy techniques efficiently to eliminate incorrect answer choices.

Day 4: Practice Makes Perfect 
(ACT Standards: Usage & Mechanics, Knowledge of Language)
Students will be able to:
• Implement learned grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure skills on a full ACT English practice test. Practice test is OPTIONAL. However, students are encouraged to participate as it will simulate the actual ACT English test.
• Analyze practice test answers, focusing on challenging questions and effective strategies.
• Review key strategies learned throughout the bootcamp, including time management tips.

The primary assessment offered is an ACT English practice test, designed to closely mimic the format and timing of the actual test. This practice test allows students to simulate the ACT English test questions and timing, providing invaluable preparation for their real test date.

These assessments will be conducted in class to ensure a controlled environment conducive to simulating test conditions accurately. Participation in the practice test is optional for all students; however, it is highly encouraged as it forms a fundamental component of the bootcamp's preparation process.
