Assessments in this class serve a crucial role in gauging students' progress and readiness for the ACT Reading test. The primary assessment offered is an ACT Reading practice test, designed to closely mimic the format and timing of the actual test. This practice test allows students to simulate the ACT Reading test questions and timing, providing invaluable preparation for their real test date. These assessments will be conducted in class to ensure a controlled environment conducive to simulating test conditions accurately. Participation in the practice test is optional for all students; however, it is highly encouraged as it forms a fundamental component of the bootcamp's preparation process.Class Experience

This four session ACT Reading Bootcamp covers essential skills such as passage structure analysis, vocabulary in context, inference, active reading techniques, and test-taking strategies under timed conditions. ✅ TOPICS COVERED: The class will delve into passage structure, vocabulary mastery, inference and analysis, active reading, and test-taking strategies. ✅ CLASS STRUCTURE: Each day focuses on a specific aspect of ACT Reading, starting with mastering passage structure, followed by conquering vocabulary in context, then tackling tough passages, and finally implementing test-taking strategies and practice under timed conditions. How will you teach? Teaching methods include brief lectures, interactive discussions, guided practice activities, and full-length practice tests. What's your teaching style? The teaching style is dynamic, engaging, and student-centered, emphasizing active participation, critical thinking, and practical application of strategies. How much will learners get to interact with you and each other? Students will interact with the instructor through discussions, Q&A sessions, and collaborative activities. They will also engage with peers through group discussions, sharing insights, and peer feedback sessions. Interactive elements include lectures, group work, practice passages, timed tests, and review sessions with active participation encouraged throughout the bootcamp.

Session 4: Test Taking Strategies & Practice
Objective: Implement test-taking strategies and practice under timed conditions.
