The session can be tailored towards the student’s chosen syllabus (GCSE Edexcel A/B, OCR A/B, AQA, Eduqas A/B and iGCSE, Cambridge, Edexcel). The session can be used as a standalone session to cover a topic of the student’s choice or can be booked as a series of sessions by arrangement with the teacher. Alternatively, the session can be used to support and guide the student through examination techniques and past papers. Topics to be studied cover: > The Natural/Physical Environment: Weather and Climate, Coastal Landscapes, Ecosystems, Rock Landscapes, Glacial Landscapes, Natural Hazards, Rivers and Water, The Living World > The Human Environment: Development, Globalization, Trade and Independence, Population and Migration, Rural Environments, Tourism, Urban Environments, Economic Change, Resource Management > Environmental and Development Issues: Energy and Resources, Conservation, Waste and Pollution, Sustainability > Geographical Skills including Cartographic and Graphical Skills --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: It is requested that parents engage with the teacher before class to discuss the students chosen topic/area of study.
