Class Experience

US Grade 6 - 8
Explore the places around you. See the air, water and land. See and make a map. Explore with our hands and minds! Explore the globe. See the Earth from the ground. During our adventures around the globe, we will learn about continents and countries as well as famous landforms, bodies of water, and cities. We will investigate different countries around the world to learn about their populations, cultures, and traditions. We will learn about latitude and longitude and climate. We will also discover the locations of natural resources around the globe. These are some of the things we will be doing this year in Geography class. Let's go see where the animals came from!!! In this class you will learn the animals by learning about where they live and what they need to survive. We will study their food and where it comes from. We will study the climate of where they are. We will see why they live where they do and what all adaptations they have that help them survive their environment. Here is a breakdown of our weeks. Keep in mind this class is ongoing. This means you can come and go as you please. Each lesson is a separate lesson that stands alone. These classes do not build on one another. You can stay enrolled for the year or just for the week.
