Students will be supported during the class to create their own artwork.Class Experience
In this one-time class, students will explore the Procreate software interface and tools. Students will learn how to improve their drawing skills, using the canvas drawing guides to create symmetrical line art. Students will work alongside my demonstrations and learn how to add backgrounds, colors and gradients to their artwork. This is a fun beginner’s class, with no prior knowledge of Procreate needed. It would be beneficial to students if they have accessed the software before the lesson to familiarize themselves with how to open and close the gallery view. This course is best delivered if you can work on your iPad whilst watching the demonstration on a different device.
Learning Goals
> Students will be able to confidently access and use the main drawing tools within the Procreate App
> Students will be able to create symmetrical line art drawings using the Drawing Assist tools.
> Students will experiment with different drawing styles and color palettes.Other Details
Supply List
Student Requirements: You will need access to the Procreate App on an i-Pad or i-Phone, and a suitable compatible drawing pencil, (we suggest the Apple Pencil). This class is best delivered if you can work on your iPad whilst watching the demonstration on a different device.
