I have been fortunate to have been involved in education services for over 30 years and have extensive experience delivering classroom-based lessons and online digital e-learning packages to both schools and home educated students. I have taught, as a qualified teacher, in mainstream schools for 20 plus years, and hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. I hold a UK Private Pilot’s Licence and have had the privilege of flying in the UK, US and Europe.
This lesson uses private link, onscreen clickable resources (content created by the teacher) via the Genial.ly web app (https://genial.ly/). Learners and parents do not require a log in to access the resource. The Privacy policy for the web app can be viewed at https://genial.ly/privacy/ Downloadable resources are provided for most lessons. Whilst it is not essential that students have access to these, they can help to increase engagement in class. These documents are posted in the classroom 24 hours before each session.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please note, due to copyright restrictions, recordings of the sessions will not be made available to students who miss class. Students are welcome to attend the missed lesson of another section if there are available spaces.
The class is taught using onscreen teacher presentation and video. Students will be shown the non advert version of the flightradar24.com app screen (on the teacher screen).
