課堂經歷
Welcome to this exciting and invigorating four week course, where we will look to dive into various forms of physical activity for 8 sessions over 2-4 weeks. Please note that some weeks we will meet twice and some thrice. Please check the dates carefully before enrolling and feel free to contact me with any questions. Before engaging in the practicalities of exercise, it is important to perceive what is involved with exercise i.e. the various forms of physical activity, how the body reacts to different activity, the safety elements, and the different things that can help fuel your drive. Physical activity is such a fundamental part of healthy living and enhancing mental strength. I am cognisant that it is becoming ever so hard to fit in physical activity around our busy daily lives. Therefore, I have designed an effective program to help you reach your fitness goals and maintain consistency. In this class the focus will be on both upper body and lower body(shoulders, back, chest, biceps, triceps, legs and abs). I will be focusing on progressive overload(improving repetitions, volume & intensity) every week, depending on learners needs, performance and preferences. The standard flow of a fitness class, includes but is not limited to: Dynamic exercise warm up- including but not limited to Jumping jacks, kick backs, mountain climbers, high knees, elevated toe taps, shoulder rolls, running on the spot, jumping squats, lunges e.t.c. • Resistance training- including but not limited to push ups(incline, decline, regular e.t.c), shoulder raises, supported dips, bicep curls, superman’s exercise, leg raises(abs), crunches(abs), planking(abs), pause squats, lateral walking, calf raises e.t.c • Cool down and Stretching- neck rolls, triceps stretch, oblique stretch, wrist stretch, chest stretch ,back stretch, hamstring stretch, abductor stretch e.t.c. I have a very empathetic teaching style and always aim to encompass people. Therefore please feel free to join, participate and enjoy. I will offer alternative exercises where applicable. I am really looking forward to hearing from you and helping you along your fitness journey. No prior experience is required and I welcome people of all experience levels. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or requests. Have a great day. Please Note: Due to safety, interaction and overall well-being I am unable to take on students who cannot have their cameras on during the live fitness session(allowances are made for occasional technical difficulties). I appreciate that not all students feel comfortable enabling their cameras and therefore I recommend an alternative flexible fitness class(pre-recordings and theory activities) that I run from time to time. I would be happy to discuss this as an alternative and students may find that they feel more comfortable engaging in this format. Please not that there is physical activity in this class. See guidance details below for safety and check in procedures.(by signing up for the class, you are agreeing to fulfil the safety measures highlighted)

The Full Body Fitness Blast fitness program, allows students to have great fun and challenge themselves to improve week upon week. They will also be able to build a sense of intrinsic motivation because as their performance improves, they will look to build on more volume and an effective time-completion rate. Overall, students will gain comprehensive knowledge, which they can carry with them outside of the classroom and optimise healthy living.There are many components to be derived from the above. The students will be more aware of safety points and health hazards before engaging in exercise. They will get an overview of the different forms of exercise and how their bodies may react to them. Moreover, they will get an understanding of why fitness is important and how they can embed physical activity into their everyday lives.I am really looking forward to meeting you and offering you an objective perspective, which has proven to be successful time and time again, not only in my life but the people I have assisted over the years.

Looking forward to meeting you. Please ensure the following before every class to highlight safety, reduce the risk of injury and ensure proper form:
1. Kindly make provisions for an open workout space(identify and remove any hazards around)
2. Dress in comfortable attire, ensuring proper footwear/clothing
3. It is important to hydrate well. Therefore, have water bottle if needed
4. Partake in adequate stretching before class if you need to
5. If at any time you feel any discomfort, stop the activity and let me know immediately
6. Feel free to ask me any questions about proper technique etc.

We will look to make use of any supplies we have in the house to increase intensity and challenge us to grow. A pair of shoes, loaded school bags, books, water bottles, a couch, the wall, resistance bands, dumbbells e.t.c. We can get very creative and innovative with household items. Don't feel obligated to bring something, as I will provide alternative exercises if you cannot bring equipment.

I have been an avid sports enthusiast and gym-goer for 15 years. I have participated and represented my schools, colleges and universities in many different tournaments in Cyprus, Canada, The United Kingdom, The United States and Tanzania. I am extremely pleased to have qualified with a high honour degree in Business before completing my Masters degree in Sport and Exercise Science. Moreover, I recently completed my formal qualification for Personal Fitness Training in the United Kingdom(REPS Accredited) . This has allowed me to gain experience of formulating different exercise programs, consult with different people from a variety of backgrounds and objectively see the significance of exercise in daily life.
