Tarea
1 hora por semana. Homework is not required for this course, however if it is submitted I will provide detailed feedback. Homework assignments are designed to facilitate student thinking for practical application of the knowledge gained in class.

Experiencia de clase

Throughout this class, we will discuss where test anxiety comes from and how to overcome it. This class will address the following topics during each week. Students will be given discussion questions and small projects designed to open their thinking and decrease their fear of anxiety.

Week 1: We will define anxiety and explore what it is. We will also learn where anxiety lives in the brain so that we can learn how to approach it.

Week 2: We will learn specific methods for overcoming test anxiety, and how to apply them to different types of tests.

Week 3: We will explore studying and note-taking strategies to help you learn how to prepare for tests a long time before you need to take them.

Week 4: We will put everything we've learned into practice! Students will be given scenarios to discuss how they can overcome test anxiety. Students will also share their own personal experiences with test anxiety and how they will approach test taking in the future.

Defining Anxiety

The Specifics on Anxiety
 We will learn specific methods for overcoming test anxiety, and how to apply them to different types of tests. 
Lección 3:
Proactivity: Studying & Note-Taking
 We will explore studying and note-taking strategies to help you learn how to prepare for tests a long time before you need to take them. 
Lección 4:
Overcoming Test Anxiety
 We will put everything we've learned into practice! Students will be given scenarios to discuss how they can overcome test anxiety. Students will also share their own personal experiences with test anxiety and how they will approach test taking in the future.
