Week 1 - We will review a map of the United States with states identified as well as the capitals. We’ll discuss the states and break down locations, such as Northern, Southern, Midwest, etc. We will start to learn and memorize the capitals. Week 2 - Students will be responsible for learning state capitals from memory, and we will play a game to test their memorization skills so far. We will also put up a blank United States map on the screen and test their knowledge of state locations.
