Description
Class Experience
Classes will include beginning range vocal exercises and learning a song to perform during the class time. Students will be able to listen to each other sing and learn what to listen for to improve tone, pitch, breath support, articulation, dynamics, and stage presence. Day 1 - Beginning vocal exercises, choosing songs for the class duration, and expectations for class Day 2 - Review vocal exercises and begin singing through song selections for teacher feedback on what to practice Day 3 -...
Each student will walk away with a better understanding of vocal classification, vocal projection, stage presence, improved tone, and basic microphone technique.
I have been performing for over 34 years and teaching performance based lessons for 14 years. I’ve also led multiple student performing groups.
Practicing vocal exercises and assigned song for the duration of the class will be expected.
Emails will be sent with vocal exercises and YouTube links to the instrumental tracks for each song.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Feedback will be given during lesson and follow up with parents as needed.
