In this twice per week class, children with third grade reading ability will practice reading fluency and comprehension skills while learning new vocabulary.

Reading comprehension is essential, particularly as a child approaches middle school age since much course work will be accomplished independently. This class focuses on improving reading ability by using phonics to decode words, reading more fluently through repetition, and improving comprehension skills.
