In this class, learners on a fourth grade math level will learn/review math concepts while using hands-on practice. We will also play a math game in each class to fine tune our skills.

Week Two (9/17 & 6/17) place value, comparing multi-digit numbers, deciding the value of each number
Week Three (9/24 & 6/24) expanded form, number value, numbers in word form
Week Four (10/1 & 7/1) subtraction with borrowing to hundreds place
Week Five (10/8 & 7/8) subtraction with borrowing to thousands place
Week Six (10/15 & 7/15) Roman numerals
Week Seven (10/22 & 7/22) multiplication of two digit times one digit numbers
Week Eight (10/29 & 7/29) division review of all facts
Week Nine (11/5 & 8/5) long division (two or three digit numbers divided by one digit number
Week Ten (11/12 & 8/12) division with remainder
Week Eleven (11/19 & 8/19) common factors in multiplication; division with remainder
Week Twelve (12/3 & 2/6) prime numbers
Week Thirteen (12/10 & 2/13) geometry (area, perimeter, parallel and perpendicular)
Week Fourteen (12/17 & 2/20) angles, lines, rays, segments, etc.
Week Fifteen (12/31 & 2/27 & 3/5 & 3/12) whole numbers, proper and improper fractions
Week Sixteen (1/7 & 3/19) adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator
Week Seventeen (1/14 & 3/26 ) multiplying fractions by whole numbers
