Looking for a fun new skill for your kids this summer? Join me for an exciting and engaging two week camp where kids can master basic crochet stitches. They’ll learn the chain, slip stitch, single crochet, and double crochet techniques. Hi I'm Meg, a crochet designer and certified crochet teacher ,I'm here to share my passion with your kiddos this Summer. I designed this fun and engaging program, your kids will learn essential crochet techniques, boosting their creativity and fine motor skills. Through hands-on projects, they'll gain patience, focus, and a sense of accomplishment. Each day, we’ll practice and build confidence while working through a variety of fun crochet projects such as bookmarks, backpack charms, Drawstring Purse and a Scarf, which they can proudly say 'I did it!'. I'll work with your child individually matching their own pace and help them build their skill throughout the session. By the end of the session, your child will have a solid foundation to continue their crochet journey and tackle many more projects in the future.

In this session we will go through step-by-step process about holding a hook, reading yarn labels, Learn about types of yarn and hooks. Making your first stich! Learn Single Crochet Stitch.

In this session we will learn to Crochet in rows, how to count stitches, learn to make a slip stitch and make a simple book mark using single crochet stitch.

Make a Backpack Charm: Using Double Crochet
In this session we will review the book mark pattern, learn to weave in ends, learn how to make a double crochet stitch, Make a backpack charm. Start making scarf project to practice at home using Single Crochet and Double Crochet Stitch!
