Students will learn how to differentiate between bossy e CVCe words and R-Controlled VRe words (are, ere, ire, ore, ure). We will discuss how the r controls the sound of the vowels, which changes the way we read each word. We will then decode words with these patterns. This will be an interactive and engaging class. I will use whiteboards, slides, and games to help students understand these concepts. I am very energetic and love to help my students enjoy learning. Students will have plenty of opportunities for individual and whole class activities. Students will participate in interactive games and slides. Teacher tips and extension activities will also be posted to the classroom after each class. Week 6/20: We will focus on words with ar/are Week 6/27: We will focus on words with er/ere Week 7/11: We will focus on words with ir/ire Week 7/18: We will focus on words with or/ore Week 7/25: We will focus on words with ur/ure
