Is your learner interested in improving their English? This is a great way to do so. This class allows your learner to work with a TESOL certified teacher in a social setting. Our teachers have Early Elementary teaching experience and their TESOL Certification! They have experience with helping students improve their English speaking and reading skills. They use props, toys, visuals, movement, and slides to help your learner better understand the English language. Students will learn English with their peers in an informal social setting. There will be games and movement in this class! We will begin each week with a warm-up activity. The warm-up activity includes a series of pictures the students will name. The teacher will model the pronunciation and the students will practice as a whole group. The teacher will use slides to help students better understand these concepts. Students will then practice their English with a show and tell each class. Week 1 We will speak and learn about me. Week 2 We will speak and learn about our family members. Week 3 We will speak and learn about items around our home. Week 4 We will speak and learn about our school. Week 5 We will speak and learn about food and meals. Week 6 We will speak and learn about our feelings and emotions. Week 7 We will speak and learn about numbers and colors. Week 8 We will speak and learn about transportation and vehicles. Week 9 We will speak and learn about animals. Week 10 We will speak and learn about weather. Week 11 We will speak and learn about days of the week. Week 12 We will speak and learn about months of the year.
