We will also reinforce the concepts of how to create the blends, digraphs or "r" controlled families in our words *Games to help students discriminate between words both in and out of our family and games of sorting the correct examples from incorrect *Optional time to "share or tell" one thing after each class, for some community-building fun. Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in English from Hanover College
For 23 years I was a 3-6 Montessori teacher and I was able to guide children from sound acquisition through word building, reading, writing, and beyond. I love to integrate songs, games and a bit of silliness into my classes to make learning fun. I let the children know that "mistakes are how you learn" and that they should never be afraid to try!
