Class Experience

Each week students will:

 1. Add new features to a game of their own design 🎮
 2. Make new friends 👏
 3. Complete exciting weekly challenges 🎯
 4. Share their game with their peers 👩‍💻🧑‍💻

-------------------------------------------------
Tech

Students who are coding on computers can use the same device for both if they know how to switch back and forth between the two applications.

Headsets are not necessary, but do provide a more focused experience and tend to block out more background noise. 🎧

 -------------------------------------------------

Tech Skills and Knowledge Required

Open Roblox Studio on their device
Start a new game
Save a new game
Navigate the Home Menu
Open their Explorer, Properties and Toolbox Menus
Foundational Keyboard skills (home keys, backspace, Control, Escape)
Left Click/Right Click on their mouse
How to toggle between different tabs (Zoom, Roblox Studio, Google Doc Browser)

If students are beginners our Beginners Level Coding Club is the perfect fit for them!

When time allows, students will also work on a collaborative project during the second half of class.
