We're going to have wonderful finished quilts.Class Experience
Ready to learn a new skill? This is not your typical quilt, it has curves. Join us for this fun apple core pattern experience. You'll just love it! Students must be comfortable using a sewing machine and sharp scissors prior to enrolling in this class. If you need to learn to use your sewing machine first try one of our novice or beginning sewing classes prior to enrolling here. During this class we will make a infant or lap sized apple core style quilt. Class 1: Organizing our materials - students will need a large space to lay out their quilt pieces and design their quilt. Class 2: Beginning sewing - We'll start sewing our rows together this day. Students will need to finish sewing their rows before class 3. Class 3: Sewing part two - We'll be learning about sewing the columns together this day. Make sure you have your top complete before day 4. Class 4: Adding a backing - This day you'll need your big space again to lay your quilt and backing out and learn the process for getting them sewn together. Class 5: Tying vs Quilting - in this class we will talk about the difference and how you are going to finish your quilt.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young Univeristy - Idaho
Hello! I'm Aubrey and I am mom to 9 crazy children ages four through sixteen. We live on a homestead in Idaho where we raise rabbits, chickens, turkeys, ducks, quail, goats, pigs and sheep.
I have a degree in Math Education and one in Family History but I love to teach a number of subjects. I absolutely love meeting new students! My favorite thing about teaching is helping my students to learn to use the tools that I am giving them in their daily life. Join my classes to learn about math, English, history and many more homestead themed topics to help you complete daily tasks and possibly find a new hobby in the process.
I'm excited to meet you!
