US Grade 3 - 6
Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this class, your learner will have the chance to learn and chat poultry. The first 15 minutes will be spent in a short lesson about birds. We will discuss new breeds, poultry records, breeding, housing, feed requirements, diseases, and much more. The rest of the class will be open for discussion. Students will be encouraged to share their own birds, ask questions, and get to know other learners who are like minded about poultry. We welcome chickens, ducks, turkeys, quail, pheasants, geese and any other poultry species you may enjoy! All discussions will be lead by the instructor who is a successful poultry breeder owner for over 10 years. We currently have a variety of chickens, ducks, and quail and are looking forward to adding turkeys and pheasants this spring. Note: Due to the short nature of this class, students arriving more than five minutes late may not be admitted to the classroom.
