2-4 hours per week. Students will need to read a book in the assigned category and be ready to share it with us during the next class.Class Experience
US Grade 4 - 7
Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this class our goal is to encourage kids to read and try new things. We will not be analyzing books or reading aloud. Each week will have a theme for a type of book to read (see list below). The instructor will posts lists of suggested books that fit the topic for the next week directly after class (or message it to new students). Students will chose a book to read during the week, using the weekly theme as their guide, and should be ready to share about what they read. Questions will be asked about: The book they read (physical or digital copy) How does it fits the weekly theme? Did they like the book? Why or why not? Is it a book they will read again? Can they relate to the main character? Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young Univeristy - Idaho
Hello! I'm Aubrey and I am mom to 9 crazy children ages four through sixteen. We live on a homestead in Idaho where we raise rabbits, chickens, turkeys, ducks, quail, goats, pigs and sheep.
I have a degree in Math Education and one in Family History but I love to teach a number of subjects. I absolutely love meeting new students! My favorite thing about teaching is helping my students to learn to use the tools that I am giving them in their daily life. Join my classes to learn about math, English, history and many more homestead themed topics to help you complete daily tasks and possibly find a new hobby in the process.
I'm excited to meet you!
