Sight reading skill Be able to perform each song fluently Basic music theory
2018 Teaching Fellow at Interlochen Music Camp 2020 Violin Faculty/Guest Artist at Bard Music Colombia Festival 2022 Teaching Fellow and Guest Artist at Dali Quartet International Music Festival
Practice is recommended at least 3 times a week. My expectation for my student is to be able to play/review all the songs/assignments that we work during the lesson.
1. Suzuki Violin book 1 which is available from amazon 2. An appropriate sized violin with a shoulder rest or sponge 3. Rosin 3. Highly recommend using the computer to connect to Zoom for a better sound quality 4. Tunner (might be needed after 3 month)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
