Struggling with editing your video? Not sure how to develop your script? Maybe you've completed your project and just want some feedback on it. Or you want to make a short movie or Youtube video and don't know where to start at all! I am here to help! Whether it is starting, finishing, or polishing your video project, I can help you with all aspects. I can also provide a personalized class if you simply wish to learn about a certain aspect of filmmaking. Here is a full list of what I can teach/offer assistance with: -Scriptwriting -Artistic planning and development of the project (help with story, direction of the video, etc.) -Practical/technical planning and development (what equipment you will need) -Storyboarding, planning your shots, shooting tips (lighting, camera angles, -Video editing -Special Effects -Titling/graphics -Colour Correction -Sound design/audio help NOTE: Please send me a message BEFORE booking to check if your desired times/days work for my schedule (the auto-scheduler sometimes shows days/times I'm not available). Hi there! Teacher Tirath here! Nice to (virtually) meet you! :)
I am so excited to be on Outschool to teach creative courses! I have 4+ years of teaching both English and math to students of all ages, and have been teaching English online for almost three years. I also have experience leading arts camps as well as working with children on film sets. I am excited about this opportunity to be able to continue to open my classroom to students from all over the world!
In terms of my qualifications, I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film Production. My specializations were screenwriting, directing, editing and sound. I have made a few short films of my own which have been shown at film festivals, and I also have done lots of editing work in the past few years. Needless to say, creativity is my passion!
I also have a Bachelors of Science, and love teaching classes that blend both science and the arts!
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and full of positivity. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, so I like to keep my classes engaging and full of fun! Also a positive learning environment is a must in my book!
When I’m not teaching or doing film work, I like to read books, draw, listen to music, and spend some time in nature, whether that be hiking, walking, or biking! I am a total tree hugger!
