Class Experience

In this film music history club, kids will watch a mix of classic and modern films. They'll learn about some of the history behind these films and discover how music enhances characters, builds tension, and even helps us understand what’s happening in a scene without words.

Some concepts we'll learn about are:
- leitmotifs (musical themes for characters)
- orchestration (how different instruments create mood)
- tempo and dynamics (how speed and volume change emotions)
- rhythmic storytelling (how music follows action)

We’ll also explore different musical styles, from big orchestras in old Hollywood to jazz, rock, and electronic sounds in modern films.

Each session will begin with watching a film together, immersing learners in the story and its music. Afterward, we’ll have a fun and interactive discussion where kids can share their thoughts, ask questions, and explore key musical moments. We'll also learn about these musical concepts through fun activities. I’ll guide them through exciting concepts while keeping it lighthearted and engaging.
