Welcome to Folded Surprise Drawings Summer Camp! This mini summer camp features four 40-minute lessons happening over the course of one week. Folded drawings are fun, creative, and great for entertaining bored learners looking for a summer activity. It also gives learners who are engrossed in the world of T.V./video games a fun little break and allows them to express their creativity! I will be guiding the students every step of the way at a slow pace to ensure everyone is comfortable and has enough time to complete the step they are on. Students will also have the opportunity to socialize with the other learners and share their drawings if they would like. :) Each class, we will do a different folded surprise drawing. Here is the schedule: Class 1: Folded Shark Drawing Class 2: Folded Ice Cream Scoops Drawing Class 3: Folded Cat and Mouse Drawing Class 4: Folded Dinosaur Egg Drawing This class is especially great for students not very confident in their art skills/those who believe they can't draw. Since we will be taking it one step at a time at a comfortable pace, even the most insecure little artists will be able to keep up - and be pleased with the result! Please bring a pencil, paper, eraser, black marker or pen, and colour markers and/or pencil crayons. I strive to provide a class environment that is fun, engaging, and a positive space! Hi there! Teacher Tirath here! Nice to (virtually) meet you! :)
I am so excited to be on Outschool to teach creative courses! I have 4+ years of teaching both English and math to students of all ages, and have been teaching English online for almost three years. I also have experience leading arts camps as well as working with children on film sets. I am excited about this opportunity to be able to continue to open my classroom to students from all over the world!
In terms of my qualifications, I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film Production. My specializations were screenwriting, directing, editing and sound. I have made a few short films of my own which have been shown at film festivals, and I also have done lots of editing work in the past few years. Needless to say, creativity is my passion!
I also have a Bachelors of Science, and love teaching classes that blend both science and the arts!
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and full of positivity. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, so I like to keep my classes engaging and full of fun! Also a positive learning environment is a must in my book!
When I’m not teaching or doing film work, I like to read books, draw, listen to music, and spend some time in nature, whether that be hiking, walking, or biking! I am a total tree hugger!
