Does your child have numerous story ideas but has trouble putting it on paper? Or maybe they are writing a story and are becoming frustrated with how to develop or complete it. Not to worry, I am here to help! Whether it is a short story, a comic book, or even a movie script/screenplay, I will help your learner with whatever story component they are struggling with, whether that be plot, character development, coming up with a strong theme, and more! NOTE: Please send me a message BEFORE booking letting me know what aspect of creative writing your learner needs help with and to check if your desired times/days work for my schedule (the auto-scheduler sometimes shows days/times I'm not available). Note: This is a workshopping class for students who want to start/are in the process of writing their own story. Hi there! Teacher Tirath here! Nice to (virtually) meet you! :)
I am so excited to be on Outschool to teach creative courses! I have 4+ years of teaching both English and math to students of all ages, and have been teaching English online for almost three years. I also have experience leading arts camps as well as working with children on film sets. I am excited about this opportunity to be able to continue to open my classroom to students from all over the world!
In terms of my qualifications, I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film Production. My specializations were screenwriting, directing, editing and sound. I have made a few short films of my own which have been shown at film festivals, and I also have done lots of editing work in the past few years. Needless to say, creativity is my passion!
I also have a Bachelors of Science, and love teaching classes that blend both science and the arts!
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and full of positivity. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, so I like to keep my classes engaging and full of fun! Also a positive learning environment is a must in my book!
When I’m not teaching or doing film work, I like to read books, draw, listen to music, and spend some time in nature, whether that be hiking, walking, or biking! I am a total tree hugger!
