Description

Class Experience

Students will gain confidence and knowledge in making films, become better communicators and learn their style of expression through filmmaking.
I have been a substitute teacher for six years for pre-k to high school students in all subjects. I am an avid movie fan and love all things film related. I have been an actor and filmmaker for the past seven years and enjoy teaching young people about the movie industry.
Every week students will have the option to participate in a weekly challenge where they must film and edit a short film that is 60 seconds or less. They will show their film in class every week.
In order to participate in the optional film challenges, the student should have a phone, tablet, camera or device that will allow the student to film a 60 second video.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
