Class Experience
Filmmaking is a craft, an art form, a mode of expression. The only way to get good at anything is to practice. In this class you will receive weekly film challenges to help you enhance, understand, experiment and learn the craft of filmmaking. Every week students will be given a challenge to make a 60 second (or less) film that must follow certain rules. The rules will vary from week to week. I have been a substitute teacher for six years for pre-k to high school students in all subjects. I am an avid movie fan and love all things film related. I have been an actor and filmmaker for the past seven years and enjoy teaching young people about the movie industry.

In order to participate in the optional film challenges, the student should have a phone, tablet, camera or device that will allow the student to film a 60 second video.
