Let's Draw Nintendo Characters! Easy Beginner Ongoing Step-By-Step Drawing Class

Do you love all things Nintendo? Are you a beginner artist who has trouble drawing characters? Welcome to my Nintendo drawing class! In this ongoing course, students will be given step-by-step instructions on how to draw all their favourite Nintendo characters, whether they're from Mario games, the Zelda series, and more! I will be guiding them every step of the way at a slow pace to ensure everyone is comfortable and has enough time to complete the step they are on. Students will also have the opportunity to socialize with the other learners and share their drawings. This class is especially great for students not very confident in their art skills/those who believe they can't draw. Since we will be taking it one step at a time at a comfortable pace, even the most insecure little artists will be able to keep up - and be happy with the result! Because this is an ongoing (drop-in style) class, each lesson will feature a different drawing and classes will not build upon each other. Each month, students will also be able to request a Nintendo character they'd like to draw, and one suggestion will be chosen for the student request class. Here is the upcoming schedule: Sep 22-28: Lakitu Sep 29-Oct 5: Zelda characters Oct 6-12: Nintendo Autumn Oct 13-19: Ice Climbers Oct 20-26: Nintendo Henchmen Oct 27-Nov 2: Nintendo Halloween Please bring a pencil, paper, eraser, black marker or pen, and colour markers and/or pencil crayons. I strive to provide a class environment that is fun, engaging, and a positive space! I hope to see you there! :) No prior drawing experience required. Perfect for beginners. #creative

Hi there! Teacher Tirath here! Nice to (virtually) meet you! :)
I am so excited to be on Outschool to teach creative courses! I have 4+ years of teaching both English and math to students of all ages, and have been teaching English online for almost three years. I also have experience leading arts camps as well as working with children on film sets. I am excited about this opportunity to be able to continue to open my classroom to students from all over the world!
In terms of my qualifications, I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film Production. My specializations were screenwriting, directing, editing and sound. I have made a few short films of my own which have been shown at film festivals, and I also have done lots of editing work in the past few years. Needless to say, creativity is my passion!
I also have a Bachelors of Science, and love teaching classes that blend both science and the arts!
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and full of positivity. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, so I like to keep my classes engaging and full of fun! Also a positive learning environment is a must in my book!
When I’m not teaching or doing film work, I like to read books, draw, listen to music, and spend some time in nature, whether that be hiking, walking, or biking! I am a total tree hugger!
Hope to see you in my classroom! :)
