The role of assessments for this class is to gauge student comprehension of the topics that have been taught. Assessments are administered at the end of each unit where the Lesson Review is notated. Assessments will be administered via Kahoot!s or Nearpod.Grading

Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this class, the students will review, learn, and problem solve with math skills that they will utilize in Pre-Algebra. The class will begin with review exercises, which will be checked at the beginning of the class. The teacher will then introduce the new material, through notes, slides, and problems worked on a document camera. The teacher will present the new material, then work with the students collaboratively on the problems, with the end goal having the students work the problems independently. A note-taking sheet will be provided for the students to complete during class. This is a class focused on teaching the students the math's concepts that will be utilized in Pre-Algebra. This is a hands-on, interactive, auditory and visual class. Students must know basic calculation skills.
