Do you love Pokémon? Do you like to draw Pokémon? Look no further because this is the club for you! In this class, we will have a different Pokémon to draw and color each session (sometimes more)! You will learn how to break down the Pokémon into simple shapes, how to sketch the Pokémon, how to ink the Pokémon sketch, and how to color your Pokémon using alcohol markers, watercolor paint, colored pencils and much more! Come join others that share the same passion for Pokémon and Art as you do! This entire course can be completed traditionally with paper, pencils, erasers, ink pens and colors of your choice (alcohol markers, watercolor paint, colored pencils, etc.). It can also be completed digitally using a drawing tablet and stylus! I will work digitally when it comes to more creative prompts such as: Fusion Mash Up days, Creating Evolutions, or other Creative Projects that we are working on in class. This is an ongoing course. While we meet weekly, the Pokémon we draw each week will be different. *If students do not wish to draw the Pokemon given for that particular week/follow the guided drawing instructions, they may choose to draw one of their choosing. *Students may share any Pokemon artwork they have created before class begins (I normally enter into the classroom about 10 minutes before class starts). *Students are given an opportunity to share the Pokemon they drew in class at the end of class. Below is a list of Pokemon Themes for the next Four Months! Each theme is divided into one of two categories/formats; Student Choice and Teacher Selected. Student choice themes allow the students to choose their subject matter for that month and Teacher Selected are subject matters that have been chosen by the teacher for the month and will be presented in a guided drawing format. May's Theme: Mega May! (Teacher Selected) For the month of May, students will learn to draw a variety of Mega Evolved Pokemon. Thes Mega Evolutions are going to be challenging and only the strongest Pokemon Trainers will be able to take on the challenge! Do you have the skills to draw them all? 5: Mega Mewtwo Y 12: Mega Scizor 19: Mega Banette 26: Mega Houndoom June's Theme: Base Evolutions (Student Choice) For the month of June, students will be choosing thier favorite base level pokemon. These pokemon are the initial starter evolutions and hold all the potential in the world to become stronger pokemon! Unlock your potential with this month's Pokemon Theme. July's Theme: Summer Vacation (Student Choice) For the month of July, students will be creating pokemon illustrations involving pokemon on Summer Vacation. These pokemon can be at the beach or the pool, or perhaps traveling across Johto or Kanto. The possibilities are endless. What kind of Pokemon Vacation would you like to draw? August's Theme: If You Can't Take The Heat! (Teacher Selected) For the month of August, the teacher will be selecting some of the hottest fire pokemon around to draw. Will you be able to handle this flame hot challenge? 4: Entei 11: Skeledirge 18: Ho-oh (Final Class)

Supply List
Students will need the following items to get the most out of the course: 1. Paper- The student can use copy paper, mixed-media paper, and/or sketchbook paper. If students are using alcohol markers, I would highly suggest using marker paper. 2. Pencils- The student can use any type of pencil 3. Erasers- The student can use kneaded, gum, pink or vinyl erasers 4. Fineliners with varying sizes- Students can use any brand of fineliners. Some that I have used in the past that work well are Microns, Uni-Pens or any water resistant fineliner will work well if students are using alcohol markers. 5. Alcohol Markers- Most brands work well. Some that work very well are Copic, Ohuhu, and Bianyo. *Because Alcohol Markers can be expensive, Students can use colored pencils instead.

Welcome! My name is Rocco Sepulveda.
I have been a certified teacher for over 10 years. I have also been a Digital Artist for over 10 years as well!
My classroom is a space where learners can shine creatively, make strides towards their artistic goals, and share their passions with each other. It is a safe space where students can openly be themselves. In my courses students will learn to become better artists as they practice different drawing techniques. These techniques include learning to sketch, learning to break a figure down into simple shapes, learning a layered approach to drawing, learning different styles of applying linework, and learning different methods for rendering artwork.
I look forward to having your learner in my class!
