Week 1Lesson 1Instructor Introduction and Perpective VocabularyIn this lesson, you will get to meet your instructor. Your instructor will show you examples of how perspective is important for drawing backgrounds and characters. You will also be learning about the vocabulary terms used when drawing in perspective.Lesson 2Perspective GridsIn this lesson, you will learn how to make your own perspective grids. Grids are very important to perspective drawings. They help us to create the space where our objects or characters will be placed. Get your paper and pencil or stylus and tablet ready so you can build your perspective grid making skills!Lesson 3Learning One-Point PerspectiveIn this lesson, you will use your knowledge of perspective vocabulary, and grid making to begin drawing in one-point perspective. This lesson will be full of opportunities for you to practice drawing in one-point perspective. Take mental or physcial notes as you go. This will help you build up your mental library when it comes to one-point perspective. The lesson is on the longer side, so be sure to take breaks as needed.Week 2Lesson 4Project 1: The RoomIn this lesson, you will review the concepts taught in the previous lessons. You will also be introduced to your first project of the course: drawing a room in one-point perpective.Lesson 5Project 1: The Room (Part 2)In this lesson, the instructor will draw a room in one-point perspective. This video will provide you with two examples of what the finished product could look like when you are finished. The first example is completed digitally and the second example is completed with paper and pencil.Week 3Lesson 6What You Can Draw Using One-Point PerspectiveIn this lesson, the instructor will explain and model what you should be able to draw using one-point perspective. The instructor will then show you that the horizon line and vanishing point are not static and you will get the chance to practice moving both in this lesson. Lastly, the instructor will discuss when one-point perspective should be used in your artwork.Week 4Lesson 7Learning Two-Point Perspective (Revisiting The Horizon Line)In this lesson, the instructor will be revisiting the horizon line and modifying it for two-point perspective drawings. This lesson will help you to view what an object in two-point perspective looks like and to point out the differences between one-point perspective and two-point perspective.Lesson 8How To Use Two-Point PerspectiveIn this lesson, the instructor will show you three things you can draw using two-point perspective.Lesson 9Floor Grids and DistrotionIn this lesson, the instructor will revisit the concept of grids and how to avoid distortion in your drawings while drawing in two-point perspective. The concept of floor grids will be important to our project in the next lesson. The instructor will also be showing you how moving the horizon line and vanishing points affect the overall drawing.Week 5Lesson 10Project 2: The ShopsIn this lesson, you will review the concepts taught in the previous lessons. You will also be introduced to your second project of the course. The project is called "The Shops."Lesson 11Project 2: The Shops (Part 2)In this lesson, the instructor will provide you with two examples of what the finished product could look like for "The Shops."Week 6Lesson 12Learning Three-Point Perspective (Revisiting The Horizon Line)In this lesson, the instructor will be revisiting the horizon line and modifying it for three-point perspective drawings. This lesson will be full of opportunities for you to practice drawing in three-point perspective. You will also be learning two new concepts this week and practice drawing an assortment of three dimensional shapes.Week 7Lesson 13Bird's Eye View HouseIn this lesson, the instructor will guide you through a step-by-step process of drawing a house in three-point perspective. Be ready to combine your knowledge of grids and measurements to help you create a convincing bird's eye view drawing!Lesson 14Worm's Eye View BridgeIn this lesson, the instructor will guide you through a step-by-step process of drawing a bridge in three-point perspective. Be ready to combine your knowledge of grids and measurements to help you create a convincing worm's eye view drawing!Week 8Lesson 15Project 3: Design...In this lesson, the instructor will be reviewing the concepts taught in the previous lessons and connecting it with concepts taught throughout the course. You will also be introduced to your final project of the course!Lesson 16Project 3: Design... (Part 2)In this lesson, the instructor will provide you with an example of what the finished product could look like for this project.
